10.18.04 - Weekend Roundup - So I did make an honest attempt at going to the Violent Femmes show on Friday. I even left early and everything. But lemme tell ya 110 pass the 10 to the 210 on a Friday afternoon is just a bad idea. Al and I ended up in Old Towne Pasadena for the evening, walked around, drank some black and tans, watched some weird outdoor indie film, ate and went home. Saturday provided a good day at the beach. It was kind of cold due to the overcast and my oversized spring suit, and I think I ended up with a bit of a cold, otherwise it was a pretty good. There were quite a few dolphins in the water that day too. One came within 10 feet of me and kind of startled me. Also, I didn't get to goto the Hello Kitty Boardfest. darn. Sunday was the usually church day, lots of kids even though some people were absent (I won't name names, benirenelesterchristina). Well, that's it for the weekend. -terry
